This course is now closed for 2009.

There is an acute shortage of qualified cooks in Australia. Restaurant & Catering NSW have been asked by the Department of Education & Training to deliver training to committed cooks who have learnt their skills on the job and assist them to gain a recognised qualification. The qualification earned on successful completion of the course is SIT30807 Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery). This course is designed for people who can work at their own pace within the timelines set down for the course. To be eligible for the program you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.
